When Nancy Watson was born on July 20, 1817, in Marion Dist, South Carolina, her father, Isham, was 30, and her mother, Mary, was 24. She married Joel Allen on February 4, 1841, in her hometown. She died on February 8, 1891, in Marion, South Carolina, at the age of 73, and was buried at Brownsville Baptist Church Cemetery Brownsville, Marlboro County, South Carolina, USA
She is the daughter of Isham Watson and Mary Hayes.
