Anderson Watson served in the United States Civil War.

Anderson was born about 1837.

Military Service

Private in the all-black 54th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry regiment, Company I. Enlisted on from 28 April 1863 from Memphis, Tennessee. He was 26 years old, married and working as a boatman when he enlisted. He was wounded in action on 18 July 1863 at Fort Wagner. Mustered out 20 August 1865.
