On 18 Jun 1670 in Angusshire, Scotland he married Isobel Milne (b. 1649 - d. 1682). They had 6 or 7 known children, some born in Scotland, rest in Maryland (Colonial America). After Isobel passed in 1682 he married again in 1685 in Prince George's, Maryland to Jane Williams. They had no children.
He passed away in 1726. [1] His will was probated on 30 Nov 1726.
Note: the marriage to Jane Herrimon needs a source. The only source record found to date shows a William Watson marrying a Jane Herrimon in England, dated 25 May 1671. This William was married to Isobel at this time and living in Scotland so this could not be the same William who married this Jane in England.

Watson-20010 and Watson-6119 appear to represent the same person because: watson-20010 -> watson-6119
I believe these are the same persons.
- birth dates are similar
- I think that the Virginia or MD birthplace is correct because father James came to America around 1638 so whouldn't be born in scotland.
- Father was James Watson (watson-7675)
- Mother was Elizabth Isham (isham-751) according to source.
- I think Jane was name of spouse according to source.
- I think that James (watson-6118) was their child (source)
- Death year was 1722 (source)
