Biography
John Watson was born on 13 October 1803 in Gorham, Maine. His parents were Edmund Watson and Betsey (Cressey) Watson[1].
He married Martha Edwards on 2 December 1840 in Gorham. They had four children[2]:
- 1. Mary E., born 9 May 1842; married Daniel W. Davis
- 2. Oliver C., born 7 Apr 1844; married Kate Lewis
- 3. Cornelia A., born 20 Jul 1847; married Frank Files
- 4. Luther D., born 14 Oct 1852; died young
John passed away on 12 March 1878 in Gorham[3].
