Biography

Susanna Watson was born on 1 February 1746 in Gorham, Maine. Her parents were Eliphalet Watson and Elizabeth (Phinney) Watson^[1].

She married Isaac Skillings on 8 January 1766 in Gorham^[2]. They had seven children^[3]:

1. Mary, born 13 Jan 1767; married Samuel Davis

2. Elizabeth, born 16 Jun 1768; married Edmund Brown

3. Tabitha, born 23 Nov 1770; married Nathan Sawyer

4. Susanna, born 10 Nov 1772

5. Daniel, born 5 Mar 1775

6. John, born 15 Jan 1777; married Betty Irish

7. Joseph, born 2 Jan 1779; married Susan Clark

Isaac passed away in 1779, and Susanna married Zachariah Sawyer, the father of her son-in-law Nathan, on 13 May 1784 in Gorham^[4].

Susanna passed away in October 1834^[5].
