Anna Montgomery 1926 - 2014

Anna Montgomery, a long time resident of Springfield, OR died Tue, Feb 25, 2014 at the age of 87, of age related causes. Anna was born on March 31, 1926 in Kankakee, Illinois. She was 1 of 7 children born to Madge and William Watson. She married John Montgomery in 1950 in Aurora, Illinois. They moved to Springfield in 1960. She was a member of New Life Church for 30 years. She cherished the Monday morning ladies Bible study with her friends. She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, her only child Mike, and 5 siblings, Ione, Cecil Don, Ted and Jim. She is survived by her brother Bill Watson, step-daughter Sandy Gottlieb, grandchildren Michael Montgomery, Tracy Lund, Stephanie Landmeier and great-grandchildren Mikey Montgomery and Madison Lund. A Celebration of Life will be held March 15 at 11 am at New Life Church, 2080 19th St. Springfield.
