Biography
2nd wife (1906) of Walter George Fanning after his 1st wife Georgianna died in 1899. Together the new couple moved to Chicago to live with their son George Walter and family.
Eliza died prior to the 1921 Canadian census, which lists her husband as a widower, age 80. He moved to Cranbrook, British Columbia, to live with his daughter Mary Ethel "Pearl" Kennedy & family, probably until he died in 1924.
From the marriage record, her father's name is James Watson and her mother's name Pamela Travese.
For further research: There was a large group of 13 "Travess" passengers (adult males Uriah, Hezekiah, Bartholomew, Elisha; spouses Hannah, Phebe, Elizabeth; children John, Mary, Patty, Sarah, Elizabeth, Abraham) on the HMS Clinton in Oct/Dec 1783, taking Loyalists from New York to Nova Scotia.
