Biography
William was born on Newgong, Bengal, India, 31 January 1864 & baptised 20 March 1864, Begal, India the son of Edward Dayot Watson & Adelaide Penelope.[1]
An Infantry Captain in 1891 in Fulford, York Infantry barracks. [2]
Serving in Inda, as a Major with the Yorkshire Regiment in 1911. [3]
The marriage of William M Watson & Phyllis H Horsfall was registered in 1920, Blything, Suffolf. [4]
A retired Brig. Gen. of HM Army with wife Phyllis in 1939 living in 'Sparkford Hall', Wincanton, Somerset. [5]
