In 1906 Canada Census, Mathilda is single, 14 and living as servant in the home of a Robert Anderson in area of Silver Grove, Saskatchewan, east of Leask, Saskatchewan
She married Reinhold J Fischer on 12 October 1912, in Carlton, Saskatchewan, Canada.
In the 2921 Canada Census, Matilda, her husband and 5 children are living on the farm in area of Laird, and she now identifies herself as Mennonite, and of French ancestry.
In the Canada Census 1926 she is 38, last name now spelled Fisher, says she is Dutch, and living in the area of Laird, Sk.

In 1931 Madeline is still living in the region of Laird, Sk, with her husband, 7 children and one servant. She identifies her ethnicity as French!
She died on 1 February 1970, in Rosthern, Saskatchewan, Canada, at the age of 82, and was buried in Hepburn, Saskatchewan, Canada.
