Brown-160879 and Watson-3000 appear to represent the same person because: These two Crockets are the same person, Brown-160879 has memorial stone, military record shows only one Crockett in Tennessee records and that is Crockett Brown, the Brown name is taken from his stepfather, on 1860 census record his surname is Barnett, on Watson-3000 it shows his birth father was Watson. The 1860 census record shows his birth year should be 1846. I've also put in a merge request with the Find-a-Grave Memorials

Brown-160879 and Watson-3000 do not represent the same person because: There are too many factors that make this match unlikely.

1) Military records in the name of Crockett Brown. 2) Age in military records of Crockett Brown make him 11 years older than Crockett Watson. 3) In the census, Crockett Watson goes by Watson (and not by Brown).
