Biography

Job was born on 23 October 1859^{[citation needed]} at Broomfleet Landing, Yorkshire, England. He was born to an unmarried mother.^[1]

In 1880 Job married Charlotte Richardson.^[2] The couple lived at Broomfleet Landing in the parish of Faxfleet, Yorkshire, in 1881 with Job's grandmother, Elizabeth Watson (born c1820 in Hatfield Woodhouse).^[3] By 1891 they lived at Oxmardyke Gates in the parish of Scalby, Yorkshire. Job worked as a railway platelayer.^[4] In 1901 the Watsons lived at Oak Farm in Foggathorpe, Yorkshire, and Job was a farm foreman.^[5] By 1911 the family lived in Gilberdyke, Yorkshire.^[6]

Charlotte died in 1919 at the age of 58.^[7] Job died on 1 June 1939^{[citation needed]} at the age of 79.^[8]
