Biography
Janet, or Jessie as she was known, was born at Buller Holes in Kilwinning, Ayrshire in 1870.
In 1891 she is living with her older sister, Marion and her family at Bridgend Footpath Garden in Kilwinning. She is a dressmaker.
She married Donald McIntyre, a shepherd from Glasgow at Pathfoot, Kilwinning on 14 Jan 1898. She was a domestic servant. Donald was the son of Peter McIntyre, a shepherd and his wife Janet McGibbon.
She and Donald are living in Camlachie, Glasgow in 1901 with their 3 children: Peter, Jessie and Marion. Donald is a cattle drover.
