John Williams, of Massachusetts. ; Daughter of Robert Watson and Margaret Rebecca Standart, his wife. ; Granddaughter of George Standart and Lucy Williams (1772-1853), his wife. ; Gr.-granddaughter of John Williams and Rebecca Winslow, his wife. ; John Williams, (1719-94), was an ardent Whig and gave [p.281] his house as a rendezvous for the Boston Tea Party. He served as a minute man at the Lexington Alarm, as did also his son, Thomas. He was born in Dorchester, Mass., where he died.
