Catharine "Kittie" Watters was born about 1822 in Maryland. She was the mother of Civil War veteran Benjamin W. Naylor, and the mother-in-law of Civil War veteran Henry Johnson, both of whom served with the famous 54th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry.
