She was born about 1802 being baptised at Histon 26 Sep 1802 daughter of John and Jane Watts. ^[1]

She married William Charles, son of Thomas Charles and Elizabeth Howard at St Andrew's church, Histon, Cambridgeshire, England on 11 Jun 1822. ^[2]

Mary's husband William was a gardener, and after marriage they raised at least seven children^{[3] [4] [5]}
