Biography

Chamberlain, Hx of Chelsea, has as youngest son of Edward and Rebecca. Brattle Square Church, Boston, dismissed Daniel Watts to the Rumney Marsh Church which received him 9 Feb 1748/9, and chose him deacon in September following. owned Senter farm, 1728. Party in Tripartitite agreement. His farm. Admitted to full communion ("Pastoral care of this church") Feb 9, 1749. Sep 15 1749: Daniel Watts and Benjamin Britnall chosen as deacons, Chelsea Church. Highway surveyor, May 12 1755 - "shall mend ye roads from Winnisimit eastward thro Lt Cheevers woods to ye beach, agt Jno Tuttles". entered dissent 1757. d. 1760 age 56 years. inventory, house.[Chamberlain, Hx Chelsea 1-357] Died age 56 less than two months after his wife.[1]
