Mr. Watts, who was born in Not-tingham, England, in 1840, came to Victoria in 1852, and for a time lived in Bendigo, and at Gordon, near Ballarat. About 50 years ago he came to Echuca, and was employed at Mackintosh's saw-mills. He discontinued that work, and took up land at Gunbower, where he farmed until a few years ago, when he retired and came to live in Echuca. He had been ill for about a week, and death was due to heart failure resulting from influenza. Mr. Watts is survived by a widow, one son, and seven daughters. His family are Mr. H. Watts, Melbourne; Mrs. J. T. Free-man and Mrs F. F. Hutt, Echuca; Mrs. J. Moran, Mrs. W. Rofe, and Mrs. L. Bill, Melbourne, Mrs. A. Musgrove, Gunbower; and Mrs. A. Gundry, Queensland. The interment is to take place this afternoon at the Echuca cemetery, the cortege leaving deceased's late residence at 3 o'clock. The brethren of the M.U. I.O.O.F.
