Freeman Waugh, the son of Alexander Waugh and Elizabeth Throop, was born 8 June 1785 and died 8 March 1863. He married Clarinda Doty (1785-1856) about 1803 in Monroe County, New York. Freeman and Clarinda had the following children[1]:
"Freeman, the third son of Alexander, moved to Wisconsin at an early day. All we know of his descendants is that Freeman, the millionaire of Denver, visited his home in Wisconsin after the War, and found three brothers, one named Freeman." [2]
