Blanche was born in 1928. She is the daughter of James Way and Theresa House. She passed away in 2021.

Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Bonnews Lodge, Badger's Quay, NL, Blanche Tulk age 93 years of Aspen Cove.

Predeceased by her husband Hiram Tulk, infant daughter Theresa, parents; James and Theresa Way, infant siblings; Daphne Geraldine, Dorothy Jane and Frank Way, sister; Minnie (Ralph) Pearce, brothers; Guy (Louise) Way, Harold (Nancy) Way, Noah (Ethel) Way, Gerald (Susie) Way and Maxwell Way.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are sons; Phonse (Blanche) Tulk, Derrell (Dallas) Tulk, three grandchildren; Theresa Tulk (Ajoy Ghosh), Patti (Allan) Bartlett, Donovan Tulk (Brianna Nichol), great-grandson; Silas Bartlett, sister in law; Laura Way. Blanche also leaves to mourn a large circle of other relatives and many friends.

The Tulk family would like to express their thanks and gratitude to the staff at Bonnew's Lodge for their compassion and professionalism while caring for their loved one.

Resting at the United Church, Aspen Cove from where her funeral service will take place on Friday, October 22 at 2 P.M. with Rev. Lorne Bungay and Rev. Roberta Vincent Bungay officiating. Interment will follow at the United Church Cemetery, Aspen Cove. As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in her memory to Bethel United Church , Aspen Cove. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove – Musgrave Harbour. Visitations are from 2 P.M - 4 P.M. 7 P.M. - 9 P.M. on Thursday, October 21, 2021

Visitation and Funeral service will be in accordance with Covid-19 recommendations and guidelines.
