Mary Wayman was baptised 21st May 1820 at Bourn, Cambridgeshire, England. She is the daughter of John Wayman and Ann Hone. [1]
On 2nd November 1840, Mary married John Parish at Kingston, Cambridgeshire. [2] John and Mary were both 20 years of age. Their fathers were given as Smith Parish and John Wayman. [3] The witnesses were Jane Parish and Elijah Chapman. [4][5]
John and Mary had one child, Mary Ann, christened at Caldecote in 1845.
The family emigrated to Australia aboard S S Calabar, leaving from Southampton, England, and arriving at Port Adelaide, South Australia on 1st August 1853. [6]
Mary died before 1868.
