Susan was born in 1817. Susan Weathers passed away about 1865. She married Seaborn Posey on 16 April 1835. They lived in Randolph County, Alabama until they moved to Dallas County, Arkansas by the time the 1860 Census was taken. Soon afterward they moved to Polk County, Arkansas in a Community that came to be known as “Posey Hollow”. Seaborn was a Union man during the Confederate War. During the War, all of his food was taken by the Soldiers so Seaborn and his family started walking across the Mountains to the vicinity of Little Rock. During this journey, Seaborn’s wife, Susan and two daughters, Adeline & Drucilla died.
