Biography

Samuel Weathers was born in 1750 and passed away in 1819. He is believed to be the son of John Withers and Judith Foreman because he is of the right age and was living in 1818 near two known sons of John Withers -- Elisha and Valentine Weathers.

Samuel appeared in the Lincoln Co, GA tax records from 1799-1806 time frame through 1818. In 1818 he was living in Capt Jeter's District, Lincoln Co, GA as did his son Daniel and his presumed brothers Valentine Weathers, Elisha Withers and Elisha's sons Daniel and Joel Withers. atDNA triangulations strongly support that Samuel is the brother of Valentine Weathers and Elisha Withers.
