Mary was born in 1839.
Mrs. Mary Bornman, widow of Daniel Bornman, late of Wheatfield Township, died at the home of her son Christ Bornman, of Newport one Friday morning at 11 o'clock. She was aged 84 years 8 months and 23 days. The deceased had been visiting at the home of her son when she was stricken with the fatal illness. While maintaining her home and in Wheatfield Township, she has spent much of her time with her children during the past several years.
The deceased was the daughter of Christian Weaver, of Wheatfield Township, where she had resided practically all her life. She is survived by the following children; Mrs. Catherine Way, Crist Boorman, of Newport; John, Jacob, and William Bornman, of Wheatfield Township; David Boorman and Ida Lower of this place (Duncannon), John Weaver, of this places a brother. She'd been a member of the Snyder's United Brethren Church for many years. [1]
