The Gazette and Farmers' Journal, 1 Aug 1929: "Snow -- In Syracuse, NY, on Thursday, July 25, 1929, Mrs. Frank Snow, aged 69 years, 7 months and 24 days. Surviving besides her husband are two daughters, Mrs. Rosa Casper of Syracuse and Mrs. Myrtle Lum of Ebbingston [sic], NY; also one son, Arthur Snow of Parish. Funeral services were held in the Orwell Union Church on Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock. Interment was made in Orwell Cemetery.".

Newspaper clipping, fall 1885: "Last spring Frank Snow of Orwell, married, eloped with a "red-headed girl from Canada" named Christie [Rowe?], and went to Michigan. A few weeks ago he wrote to his father for money to bring him home, saying he was sorry for what he had done and would do better. The money was sent and he came, but he seems to have maintained correspondence with his paramour, and a few nights ago he left again but was [arraigned?] at Sandy Creek and brought before a justice, tried and held to bail in the sum of $650, $250 for bad behaviour and $250 for the support of his family for one year or one year in jail."[13]

Newspaper clipping dated 10 Dec 1886: "Miscellaneous County Items. Frank Snow, of Orwell, who ran away with a red haired girl a year ago, returned home the other day and was forgiven by his wife."[14]
