Biography

Stephen was born in 1742. He was the son of Stephen Weaver and Elena Cane. Some researchers believe he married Elizabeth Wadkins but we have not found any proof of that. He lived in Anson Co., NC and later had land in Chesterfield Co., SC. He served in the Revolution, and received land in Richmond Co., GA as a result. He passed away after 1828 and before 1830. See the land transaction images attached to this profile page.

Name

Designating him as "Stephen II" since he nor his father Stephen were ever referred to as Sr. or Jr. in any official documents.
