Biography

Jackson was born abt 1803. He was listed in the 1870 Census DeKalb Co., GA and then his wife, Sarah, was listed as a widow in DeKalb Co., GA in 1880. This means Jackson died after 1870.

Many researchers have confused him with Jackson Willingham Weaver, a child born in 1887, who died 25 Jun 1893 in the Atlanta area. This child was Jackson's grandson through his son Thomas H. Weaver. See attached image.

Jackson and wife Sarah had the following known children:

  • Reuben Collins Weaver, 1840–1875
  • Caroline Elizabeth Weaver, 1843–1914
  • John A Weaver, 1845–
  • Thomas Haralson Weaver, 1847–1910
  • Joseph Alvin Weaver, 1849–1917
