1st Lt. George Webb Sr. served in the United States Civil War.

George was born in 1839. George Webb was the son of James and Elizabeth Webb.

He married Mary "Polly" Shrader (1841 - 1874).[1]

During the US Civil War He was a Captain in Company I, 2nd Tennessee Cavalry, Union Army.

He passed away in 1866. He was buried at Fox Cemetery in Sevierville, Sevier County, Tennessee, USA.[2]
