Biography

Sarah Webb was born about 1775.[1]

Sarah married William Watson at Kenardington, Kent on the 20th of December, 1797.[2][3] It is uncertain how many children they had together, but their daughters Harriet Moon and Hannah Judge migrated to New South Wales with their families.

1841 saw William and Sarah Watson living on their own at Lain, Rolvenden - Rolvenden Layne? William was an agricultural labourer.[4]

in 1851 William and Sarah were living at Rolvenden as paupers - he was recorded as a former agricultural labourer.[1]

Both Sarah and William died at Rolvenden on the 6th of May, 1855, witnessed by a Harriet Watson (not their daughter, who was already in NSW). Sarah probably died first as she was recorded as a widow on her death certificate.[5]
