Mrs. Ruth Webb Pugh, 69, Draper died Sunday morning in Pulaski General Hospital. She was the widow of Glenn Early Pugh, born in Carroll County Mar. 15, 1897, the daughter of the late Charles and Lucy Cox Webb. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Marie Boyd, Hiwassee; Mrs. Eula Duhurl, Draper; Mrs. Gladys Bryson, Dublin; Mrs. Ellen Lefler, Draper and Mrs. Ruth Akers, Ramseur NC; two sons, Lawrence N. Pugh, Pulaski and Joyce Pugh, Omaha, NE; three sisters, Mrs. Mattie Goad, Fancy Gap; Mrs. Nellie Bedsaul, Galax and Mrs. Lena Stoneman, Check; also 20 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. from Stickler's Chapel conducted by tha Rev. Raymond Carpenter. Burial will be in the Moore Cemetery. The body will remain at Strlckler's Funeral Home.
