Mary Webb was born in about 1822 in West Derby, Lancashire.

Mary married John Greener on 18 Apr 1841 at St Peter's Church in Liverpool, Lancashire. Both were minors (under the age of 21) and neither had been married before. John was a glass cutter living in St Johns Lane; Mary was living in Clayton Square. Their fathers were James Greener (glass blower) and Edward Webb (labourer). The witnesses were Ralph Denton and Maria Cummins.

Their daughter Jane Anne Greener was christened on 9 Oct 1842 at St John the Evangelist Church in Knotty Ash, Lancashire. Her father's occupation was given as labourer, and the family's address as West Derby.[1]

Their son Nicholas Greener was born in 1844 in West Derby. His birth was registered in the last quarter of 1844, in West Derby district.

Their daughter Mary Jane Greener was born in about 1846, in West Derby, Lancashire. She was christened on 15 Nov 1846 at St Anne's Church in Stanley, West Derby, Lancashire as Mary Jane Greener. Her birth was registered in the last quarter of 1846 in West Derby district, as Mary Ann Greener. Her name is consistently given as Mary Jane in records apart from the birth registration.

Their son Edward Greener was born in about 1849 in West Derby. His birth was registered in the first quarter of 1849, in West Derby district. He was christened on 20 May 1849 at St Helens Parish Church. His father's occupation was given as fireman, and the family's address as St Helens.[2]

Their daughter Hannah Greener was born in about 1851 in St Helens. Her birth was registered in the first quarter of 1851, in Prescot district.

Their son John was born in about 1854 in St Helens.

Their daughter Margaret was born in about 1857 in St Helens.

Their son James was born in about 1859 in St Helens.

Their daughter Hannah was born in about 1864 in St Helens.
