Thomas was born sometime around 1824. A variety of sources allow anywhere from 1820 to 1829, but the most likely seem to be in the 1822 to 1824 range.
Thomas was already widowed when he married Eliza Anne Daines on May 19, 1859, at the Church of St. Saviour, Southwark, Surrey, England. A record of his previous marriage has not been located. His occupation at that time was recorded as "carver and gilder" and his father's name as also being Thomas Webb. [1][2]
In July of 1869 the family arrived in Ontario, Canada and settled in Oakville. [4][5][6]
Thomas passed away at Oakville on October 24, 1876. [7]
Research Notes
Looking for birth record to clear up issues with source discrepancies.
Add children in Canada - Martin Wheldon Webb, possibly also Elizabeth who died as an infant.
Other than name given in the marriage record, no further information on his parents to date.
Family records complied by Anne (Webb) Moses indicated Thomas died in London around 1868, prior to the family emigrating. This is contradicted by the records presented here.
