Biography

Elizabeth was born November 18, 1800. She was the daughter of Johnathon Webb and Amy Finch. She passed away on February 20, 1893.

Betsy married Alvin C. Graves on June 24, 1816 in Indiana. Their children were Warren Henry Graves (1820 - 1895), Asa Lester Graves (1822 -), John Graves (1824 -), Eliza Jane (Graves) Christie (1826 -), Amy Ann Graves (1828 - 1847), Jonathan Graves (1830 - 1911), Oliver Cromwel Graves (1832 -), Major Alvin Chauncey Graves, Jr. (1835 - 1863), George Graves (1838 - 1918), Roxana Graves (1841 - 1916) and Sarah Elizabeth Graves (1843 -).

Per 1850 census, the Graves family was living in Augusta, Des Moines County, Iowa. Living with them at the time was "Amery Webb", female, age 90. (Mother, Amy Webb) Alvin C. Graves died in Iowa, sometime between 1853-1854.^[1]

Betsy passed away on February 20, 1893 in Indiana.
