DIED NOVEMBER 30, 2001 ** WETZEL WOOTEN, 76, and his wife, MRS. BERTHA MARIE WEBB WOOTEN, 75, of Wayne. Wetzel Wooten was born November 6, 1925, in Wayne County, a son of the late Tommy and Stell Wooten. Bertha was born June 1, 1926, a daughter of the late Albert and Sadie Webb. Preceding them in death was one son, Roy Thomas Wooten. Survivors include their daughters, Marjorie Spence and Kathern Wooten; their son, Jerry Lee Wooten. Wetzels sister, Belle Newman; Berthas sisters, Francis Tabor, Grace Wilson, Ethel Watts; and her brothers, Warnie Webb and Lindsey Webb. Burial December 4, 2001 in Maynard Cemetery, Big Lynn.
