Bertha Marie was born on 1 June 1926 in West Virginia. She was the daughter of Albert Webb and Sadie (Artrip) Webb.^[1]

Bertha Marie died at the age of 75 on 30 November 2001.^[1]

Bertha Marie was buried on 4 December 2001 in Maynard Cemetery, Big Lynn, Wayne County, West Virginia.^[1]

Preceding them in death was one son, Roy Thomas Wooten. Survivors include their daughters, Marjorie Spence and Kathern Wooten; their son, Jerry Lee Wooten. Wetzel’s sister, Belle Newman; Bertha’s sisters, Francis Tabor, Grace Wilson, Ethel Watts; and her brothers, Warnie Webb and Lindsey Webb. Burial December 4, 2001 in Maynard Cemetery, Big Lynn.
