Johnanna Webb was a daughter of Mary Ann (Owens) and John Webb, born June 19, 1877 in Knoxville, Knox County, Tennessee. In a book called "Lynn's Legacy", it is written that she 1st married when she was 15 years old (in 1892) to a widower with 4 children. I haven't been able to find any evidence of the children or any record of the 1892 marriage. She did, however, marry Emmanuel Taylor Burkhart of Knoxville, Tennessee on July 14th, 1893, in Knoxville, Tennessee at the age of 16. E. Taylor Burkhart (as he prefered to be called) was a son of William McDonald Burkhart & Frances E (McMillan) Burkhart. He was also the county sheriff of Knox County, Tennessee for many years. The couple was blessed with nine children, the 1st being born when Johnanna was 17 years of age & the last being born when Johnanna was 42 years of age (and dying when Johnanna was 45 years of age). The children born to Emmanuel Taylor & Johnanna Webb Burkhart were: Bruce Elmer Burkhart, b.June 4, 1894, Knox County, TN Frances Ethel Burkhart, b.Nov 30, 1896, Knox County, TN Mary Ruth Burkhart, b.Feb 2, 1899, Knox County, TN Gladys Mae Burkhart, b.Sept 6, 1901, Knox County, TN Hazel Elizabeth Burkhart, b.Dec 20, 1904, Knox County, TN Henrietta "Etta" Burkhart, b.Nov 17, 1907, Knox County, TN Lafe Taylor Burkhart, b.March 5, 1914, Knox County, TN Pauline D.Elsie Burkhart, b.Sept 25, 1915, Knox County, TN and Anna Webb Burkhart, b.July 14, 1919, d. July 26, 1922, in Knox County, Tennessee, when Johnanna was just 45 years of age.

But Johnanna only lived long enough to see her eldest children marry before passing away at the relatively young age of 47 years. She died on Sept 8th, 1925 in Knoxville, Knox County, Tennessee and is buried at Asbury Cemetery in Knoxville under the name "Anna Burkhart". Her husband remarried (rather quickly) to Lula E Haun (1903-1991), daughter of Erastus Haun & Iva Magnolia (Burkhart) Haun (1879-1940). Four children were born of that marriage between 1926-1930. Johnanna's husband joined her at Asbury Cemetery following his death on Oct 1st, 1938. {His widow never remarried and died in 1991.} He is buried under the name of "E. Taylor Burkhart" not far from Johnanna. Many of their children and grandchildren are buried there also. May they all Rest In Peace.
