Biography
This profile is part of the Weber Name Study.
George married Sybil Webber, his first cousin (daughter of Charles' brother Joseph), and had four children. She died in 1828, and he married Temperance Emery. He was a miller.
In 1831, he was certified by the court as a "spendthrift", and a guardian was appointed.
He died intestate in 1833 with one minor child, two married daughters, and one son, William, who had also been declared a spendthrift and assigned a guardian.
The census reports from 1810-1830 are consistent with his known household composition except that there is an extra adult male in his age range in the house in 1820.
