John WEBER was born on March 20, 1786, in Earl Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, USA, to Peter Weber and Veronica Wenger. John was the first of 11 known children born to Peter and Veronica.
On March 18, 1806, age 19, John married Catherine Gehman. They lived in Earl Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, USA. Together they had 10 children. Three of their children died as infants younger than 5 days old. Those whose names appear in the research are as follows:
In 1825, they moved to Canada West, and they located on a farm in the Woolrich township area in what is now Ontario, Canada.
In 1933, he was ordained as a minister of the Mennonites, and he became minister at the newly-built Martins Meeting House.
Johns father, Peter, died on April 3, 1837. His mother, Veronica, died about 5 years later in 1842 or 43.
John died on January 21, 1854, in Woolrich township. [1]
His wife, Catherine, died 10 years later on June 2, 1864. They are both buried at the Martin meeting house Cemetary in Woolrich Township, Waterloo, Ontario, Canada.
