Her name ("Amalie") appears with her family in the 1870 census when her age was given as 12, which would put her birth around 1858.
A findagrave entry says she was born in 1847 and died in 1867. In addition to the large discrepancy for her birth year, it would have been unlikely for her to be counted in the 1870 census if she died in 1867.
