Biography
Catherine Felicite Webre was born on 25 Nov 1821 in Edgard, St. John the Baptist, Louisiana, United States, a daughter of Christophe Webre (1799 - 1855) and Marie Felicite Rome (1804 - 1832). [citation needed]
In 1850 she was counted on the census with two young children in the household of her husband, Victorin Melançon, in St. James, Louisiana.[2]
In 1860, they were counted in Ascension Parish, Louisiana,[3]
again in 1870, when Victoin is listed as a brick mason;[4]
and again in 1880.[5]
Catherine Felicite died on 3 March 1903 in Convent, Louisiana, aged 81.[6]
