Rhoda was born in Herkimer County, New York, in 1795. She married Silas Clark, and they had 10 children.
In the 1850 census,[1] she is living with her husband Silas and six children:
Juliet Clark, aged 24
Morris Clark, aged 22
Bianca Clark, aged 19
Homer Clark, aged 17
Delavan Clark, aged 14
A. S. Clark (male), aged 11
One of them, Silas A. Clark, was 37 in the 1865 New York State Census[2]. In addition, his wife, Mary A. I think, and their seven-month old son, Herbert. So - household members
Silas, aged. 71, born in Orange County, NY
Rhoda, wife, 60, born in Herkimer County, NY
Silas A., son, born Steuben County, NY
Mary A (I think), daughter-in-law, aged 24, born in Ontario County, NY
Herbert, grandson, aged seven months, born in Seneca County, NY
She passed away in 1886.
