Biography
John was born in Plainfield, New Jersey, in 1782. His parents were Taylor Webster and Hanna Jackson, and he was the youngest of their seven children. He married Elizabeth Winder in Ross County, Ohio, in 1805. They had six children: Taylor, Abner, Margarette, William, Hannah, and Hugh. He passed away in 1820 in Belmont, Ohio.
