A record of the marriage of this George H. Webster to Louisa A. Martindale, November 17, 1869 in either Enfield Massachusetts of Hebron, Connecticut. This record is a registration of the marriage in Enfield. Of this George, this record also tells us he was a 23yr old farmer, entering into his 1st marriage at the time. It also tells us he was born in Enfield, (Hampshire), Massachusetts and that his parents were Jedediah P. and Diana H. Webster.^[1]

He is living there in Enfield, with what appears to be his 2nd wife, 34yr old Sarah H. and seven children. The 1st four children appear to surely be from his 1st marriage. They are 27yr old Edmond M., 23yr old Jennie S., 18yr old Harry C. and 15yr old Florence R. The next child, 13yr old Susie E., could be product of either his 1st or 2nd marriage. The last two children seem to surely be a product of his 2nd marriage to Sarah. They are 5yr old Theodore M. and 3yr old Ethelbert. The 1900 US Census of Enfield, Hampshire, Massachusetts finds this Harry C. at the age of 19yrs old and given as a farmer born in August of 1881. He is living there in Enfield with his father, George H. Webster, what is likely his father's 2nd wife, given as 34yr old Sarah H.; two persons who are certain to be his full-siblings; 27yr old Edmund M. and 15yr old Florence R.; one person who could be either a full-sibling or a half-sibling, 13yr old, Susie E. and two persons who seem to be surely half-siblings, 5yr old Theodore M. and 3-yr old Ethelbert.^[3]
