Biography
Samuel Webster was born in 1792, the son of Joseph Webster and Sarah Bailey.[1] He lived his entire life with his father in Atkinson, including after 1816 when he married Sarah Eaton, also known as Sally.[2]
Samuel and Sally had the following two children:
- Joseph, b. 12 Feb. 1817, m1. Isabella Emery Hawley, 17 May 1844; m2. Wealthy Jane Emerson, 3 Sep. 1851; d. 9 Jan. 1904, and
- Dennis, b. 7 Aug. 1821; m. Mary Elizabeth Rowe, 3 June 1846; d. 20 July 1906.
They were recorded on the 1820 census in Atkinson.[3]
Samuel passed away in 1828, at only age 36. He was interred in Atkinson Cemetery.[4] His father passed away just 9 days later. His wife would remarry and live another 50 years.
