Absalom was born in 1810. He was the son of Cornelius Webster. He resided alone next to his sister Ann (Webster) Mitts in 1850 Grant County, Kentucky. He purchased 80 acres of land in Clark County, Missouri in 1854 and was residing there by 1860.
Absalom married on Christmas Eve in 1864 to Rachel Johnson. He died in Clark County in 1887.
NOTE: Absalom was enumerated as Richard Webster during the census of 1880. He was named "Dick" Webster on the death record of son Vardiman Webster.
