Biography

Felix was born about 1846. He was the son of Thomas Webster and Sara Calloway.

He was the first head of the Dallas Cotton Exchange, and died in Germany at the start of WWI while on a trip with his family to find treatment for his heart trouble.[1] A report was in the New York Times: https://www.nytimes.com/1914/08/20/archives/f-p-webster-dies-abroad-texas-cotton-merchant-was-separated-from.html

Felix was the first president of the Dallas Cotton Exchange, which was a major part of the agricultural and economic system of Texas and much of the South and Southwest USA. .
