Thomas Osbourn Wedding was born on 12 May 1818 in Washington, Mason, Kentucky, his father, Thomas Courtney Wedding III and his mother, Eleanor Lanham. He married Nancy Ann Howard on 13 Feb 1843 in Daviess, Kentucky. Their son was Leo Nathaniel Wedding (1846–1915). He died on 23 Apr 1890 in Whitesville, Daviess, Kentucky and was buried in Saint Mary of the Woods Cemetery, Whitesville, Daviess County, Kentucky.
