By 1930, Paul E. (10) and Pearl I. (10) lived with their parents Lou (age 53, farmer) and Lena Wedding (47) and the other two left at home: Mary L. (18), Eugene (14). Only the 20-year-old twins Pearl (typist) and Paul (apprentice carpenter) remained with their parents Lou (63, farmer) and Lena Wedding (57) in 1940.
Paul was a carpenter on 4 December 1941, when he enlisted for military service during World War II.
On 14 February 1946 in Alexandria, Virginia, he married Fonda Marie Nutt, daughter of Anthony David Nutt and Monna Lenore Washburn. Together they had at least four children.
Paul died 27 December 1994 in Fairfax County, Virginia, and was buried at Quantico National Cemetery in Quantico, Prince William County, Virginia.
