Charles Ralph Weddington was born Sept. 7, 1884 in Kinderhook Illinois to William Claybourne Weddington and Lillian Jane Close Weddington. His brother, Lawrence Weddington, married Bertha Miller. His sister, Anna Fern Weddington, married Clark Snodgrass. There were three other siblings all who passed under age three. They were Mary Jane Weddington, James Norton Weddington, and John Franklin Weddington. Ralph passed away at 16 years 1 mo 21 days of malarial dropsey.

The burial place for Charles and his three siblings who passed at a young age is uncertain. They are likely buried at Akers Chapel cemetery in Hull, IL along with their parents and siblings, Anna and Lawrence.
