Biography

Mary Ann Wedgwood was the youngest child in the family of Josiah Wedgwood and his wife, Sarah Wedgwood. She was short of stature and was physically and mentally retarded. She suffered from recurrent fits followed by partial paralysis episodic blindness. She died with progressive dementia at the age of eight [1] and was buried at Stoke on Trent [2]
