William Weed was born on 8 Dec 1798 in Greenfield, Saratoga, New York to Abraham Weed and Naamah (Naomi). He married Lucy Dake about 1820. Children: Amy Ann Sally, Abigail Jane, William G D, Sarah Emeline, Lucy E, Margaret. He died on 2 Sep 1886 in Byron, Ogle, Illinois.
