Thankful Weed was born 16 Dec 1757 in Stamford, Connecticut to parents Jonas Weed Jr. and Martha [probably Holmes, of Greenwich].
She married Abraham Reed, of Norwalk, 7 Oct 1773 at the Congregational Church in Darien (then still part of Stamford). Children: Martha, Abraham, Hannah, Jonas, levi, Anna, Rev. Isaac, Lydia, Zeriah.
She died in July 1830 in Granville, Washington, New York, USA, and she is buried in De Kalb Cemetery there. Her gravestone reads "Thankful, wife of Abraham Reed 2nd died July ( ) 1730 Æ 78 years."
